NSG has taken steps to strengthen the engineering team within its head office operation in Darlington, which will considerably expand upon its existing engineering provision. The new team members are, Graeme Rudd ex AXA Motor Engineering Services Operations Manager who has had a 28 year career with Guardian insurance and then AXA following their acquisition of Guardian in 1999. Graeme will head up the existing department as Engineering Services Manager. He has been joined by Andrew Burnham who comes with 20 years experience working for RBS Insurance as a Senior Motor Engineer. The team also includes long serving and experienced staff members, Sara Harris, Eddy McCue and Lisa Herdman. This increases the capacity of the team allowing NSG to meet the service requirements of its business partners.

The Engineering Services department acts on behalf of partners who require the services of motor engineering specialists. The team carries out vehicle inspections, repair costing, valuations and salvage categorisations on Accident, Fire, Theft and Flood Damage cases. The department will also oversee the existing Digital Imaging Inspection service.
