e2e Total Loss has been accredited as a Silver Level Carbon Literate Organisation, highlighting our dedication towards tackling climate change, reducing our organisational carbon emissions and our commitment to working towards a lower-carbon future.

Who are e2e

e2e is the only dedicated provider of total loss claims management services in the country. We process some 50,000 claims p.a. through our Darlington HQ and the operational fulfilment of salvage and green parts supply is provided by our 11 member businesses who work across 30 sites spread throughout the UK. In total our members collect and process some 300,000 vehicles per annum and have capacity to store over 40,000 vehicles on member sites.

Our view of ESG

Our commitment to the fundamental principles of good Environmental, Social, and Governance

(ESG) conduct throughout the e2e network is an immovable pillar of our corporate culture. In turn, this drives many of our operational processes, targets, and our decision to use external and independent measurement of outputs.

This latter element helps to ensure that we are making rapid progress towards our goals, whilst also guaranteeing that we maintain the very highest standards of objective and expert assessment of our efforts.

We have also committed to working within a science-based targeting regime that will further strengthen our drive to achieve meaningful progress along the way to reaching our over-arching goal of Net Zero by 2050. The SBTI regime that we are adopting further cements our desire to be amongst the leading exponents of carbon emissions reductions in our sector.

Carbon Literacy Training & Colleague engagement

As part of our wider ESG Programme , Sustain 360, we identified and embarked upon a colleague awareness plan.

We engaged the help of the Carbon Literacy Trust to help us to improve the education of our colleagues and raise awareness of all items that will improve the environment in which we live.

In 2023 e2e were awarded the bronze carbon literacy accreditation and have now widened learning to all staff and business leaders within the company.

Training has encompassed both on-line sessions with Carbon Literacy Trust and utilising our own “Carbon Literacy” champions to provide face to face training.

Awareness of carbon reduction and improvement went from 40% before the courses to 90%.

Personal carbon pledges made have been added to existing personal work objectives.

During 2024 we intend to roll out training to other supply partners.
